JAMMU, Sept 17: All Kashmiri Migrant Relief Holders (AKMRH) held a meeting at Jagti Township today. The meeting, which was presided over by Ajay Bhat, discussed various problems faced by the Kashmiri migrants. Speaking on the occasion, Sunil Raina demanded that relief holders who have crossed age limit from 1990 and have their families be given compensation of Rs 50 lakh per family till return to valley. Ajay Bhat appreciated DyCM Nirmal singh, Adviser to CM Amitabh Matoo, Vice Chancellor Central University Jammu Prof Ashok Aima, MLC Surinder Ambardar, who visited the Jagti township and committed to engage an ambulance, repair of Kandoli to Jagti township road. Bhat appealed the Education Minister to depute the staff for Zoology, Stenography, laboratory assistants and physical education teachers for Jagti Migrant Higher Secondary and Middle Schools as these posts are lying vacant for quite some time now. |
