Mahasha Sadar Sabha initiates membership drive of its community 10/5/2015 12:14:51 AM Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 4: J&K Mahasha Sadar Sabha initiated a membership drive of the Mahasha Community today which was long over due and shall continue till end of this year. This was disclosed by its President Mahasha Sadar Sabha while addressing a press conference. He apprised that this drive shall also be conducted by the District Presidents in their respective Districts who shall update the list of members to be sent to Central Body for consolidation in the form of electoral rolls so as to send the same to the Election Board of the community. He urged upon the State Govt. to give representation to the Mahasha community in the State Legislative Council as well as in the State Cabinet. Expressing his concern about charging Rs. 300/- as cost of application form by the Police Recruitment Board, he appealed the Govt. to waive off the application form fee from the candidates of the Community. He also demanded shifting of the slaughtering house adjacent to Shiv Temple and Guru Nabha Dass ji Community Hall Dogra Hall which has not been done despite repeated requests made to the concerned authorities.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
