| GDC Akhnoor organizes workshop | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 29 : Government Degree College, Akhnoor in collaboration with J&K State Council for Science and Technology today organized a two-day workshop on "Intellectual Property Awareness'.
In her welcome address, the coordinator of the workshop and Head Department of Physics Dr. Anshu Sawhney said that intellectual property awareness plays a vital role in enhancing the socio-economic prosperity of the country. Creativity and innovation are new drivers of the world economy.
With the increasing relevance of Intellectual Property in this era of globalization, it is important to recognize the role which these systems play in the growth of the nation. Thus, there is a need to create large public awareness about the pivotal role of Intellectual Property in globalized knowledge economy.
The Workshop is intended to cover various aspects of Intellectual Property Rights. |
