Two held for ‘illicit liquor distillation’ in Kishtwar 10/30/2015 12:18:13 AM Early Times Report Kishtwar Oct 29: Continuing its drive against bootlegger to curb the menace of illicit liquor distillation in Kishtwar District, the sleuths of Excise department Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban range conducted series of raids in Kishtwar and arrested two persons for illicit liquor distillation and also destroyed 200 ltrs of illicit liquor (Lahan) on the spot. Official spokesperson has identified accused as Ram Krishan Baghat s/o Pinna Baghat and Murli Lal Parihar s/o Sewa Ram Parihar both resident of Hidyal Kishtwar. Spokesperson said that following directions of Deputy Commissioner Excise Shahid Saleem and ETO Gurdev Kumar, a sleuth of Excise Department led by Inspector (Excise) Tousif Mustafa Wani staff of Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban range conducted series of raids in Kishtwar and arrested two accused for distillation of illicit liquor. “In addition to this, the team also conducted raids at village Phugumar and Trigam and destroyed about 200 liters of Lahan on spot, he added.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
