Two schools found closed, officials absent during surprise inspection | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Oct 29: Special team of District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Rajouri during its surprise visit found two Government Schools closed while many teachers absent from duty following which disciplinary action has been initiated against all the negligent officials. According to official sources, a special team of District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Rajouri led by Principal Pardeep Sharma conducted surprise inspection in several education institutions of Baljarralan, Perry and Kotranka Zone of district. “At Govt Middle School Rehan five out of six teachers were found unauthorizedly absent from their duty while only one single teacher was running the school affairs while team found Govt Primary School Phalwara being run by only one teacher out of three posted at school, official added. “The Inspection team also found that the building of Government Primary School Kewal been locked by a local with demand of providing job as he has donated land for school after which school is being run in a rented building and here also team found all the three teachers unauthorizedly absent from their duties, he added. “Similarly Govt Primary School Takia Phalni was also found closed at afternoon and teachers absent in an unauthorized manner while two teachers were found not attending their duties at Government Higher Secondary School Samote and their attendance column left blank, official said. Taking strong exception the Principal DIET Rajouri served explanation notices to all the erring officials and has directed to submit their replies within two days.
