Newly elected President of DSA expresses gratitude | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 29: Newly elected president of student wing of Dental Surgeons Association Jammu and Kashmir expressed his gratitude of Dental students of Jammu and Kashmir and assured that all genuine demands of students will be taken with concern authority. Addressing media persons, newly president Inzmam Khan assured all the students of state of their full support to take up various issues including non recruitment of PSC since 2008, increasing the numbers of MDS seats, starting MDS courses in IGGDC Jammu, stoppage of admissions in private colleges so as to rule out saturation, increasing the number of seats of house surgeons in IGGDC Jammu, ban on dental quacks. They urged the present PDP- BJP coalition government to frame an annual recruitment policy for dental surgeons and save the carriers of dental students. They further highlighted that the oral hygiene of people of J&K is very poor and requested Minister for Health and Medical Education to kindly address their problems on urgent basis. While, Chief spokesperson Khalil Ahmed Malik said that union shall be followed all legal proceedings soon. On the occasion, other members of the wing included Vice President Manzoor Ahmed Rather, General Sec Indu Thakur, Chief Spokesperson Khalil Ahmed Malik, Secretary Rezhat Abbas, Legal Advisor Shafqat Mehmood, chief coordinator Urtaza Rafi Wani congratulated the newly elected president and advised them to work with dedication and sincerity for the welfare of dental students of J&K. |
