AIU kick-starts construction of road from NH to Battal Ballian 11/20/2015 12:14:57 AM Early Times Report Udhampur, Nov 19: The members of Association of Industries Udhampur (AIU) started the construction work of road from the funds collected by members which leads from new National Highway (NH) to Battal Ballian Industrial area. The association hired JCB machine and Road Roller and also aggregate for the maintenances of such road. At that time the owners and managers of different Industrial units and large no. of local residence were present there. On speaking before the gathering present there the association executive members including Udhayveer Singh, President, Sr. Vice President Raghuvir Gandotra, Vice President Sukhdev Singh said that the electric, water and roads of this area are in very worst condition. Some roads of this area are not in position that vehicle properly run them. Same as one road which leads to national highway to Battal Ballian industry area was in very worst position. The members of association complaint in written to SICOP department so many times but when SICOP department didn't take any interest, and then the association decided to do the work themselves.
