Kathua, Nov 20: All J&K +2 Lecturer Forum Kathua unit held its meeting under the chairmanship of Jatinder Sethi Distt President Kathua in which members discussed overall scenario of education department and deliberated upon various problems of teaching fraternity especially the Plus 2 lecturers.
According to spokesperson of forum, the house stressed upon the state government to fulfill the long pending demands of running grade pattern to +2 lecturers on priority.
"Further house demanded a statutory transfer policy and its strict adherence for maximum deliverance to the masses, he added. Other demand projected included restoration of 40% College quota, regularization of all cadres, removal of pay anomaly and regularization of Physical Education Lecturers and Deputation of lecturers for Ph D, reorganization of the school education department.
The house also appreciated and welcomed the various steps taken by the Commissioner/Secretary School Education Department Shaleen Kabra for the improvement of teaching standards to achieve the academic excellence. Among others who spoke on the occasion were Chander Mohan Raina, Ram Parkash, Ashwani kumar, Ram Paul, Vikas Malpotra, Prem Verma, Karan Singh, Prem Sharma, Inderjeet Singh, Subhash Sharma, Satish Chandel and Gulam Abbas. |
