JKCLU holds meet, discusses problems 11/26/2015 11:20:09 PM Early Times Report Samba, Nov 26: A meeting of General Body of J&K State Central Labour Union, Jammu was held on at Bari Brahmana, Samba under the Chairmanship of Nar Singh Narania to discuss the various problems/difficulties being faced by the daily wage workers of PHE, PDD, PWD, Irrigation & Flood Control, Agriculture Department etc. for not deducting their PF which is a mandatory provision under the J&K EPF Scheme. The union once again appeals the State Government to issue standing instructions to the defaulting Departments to provide PF benefits to all the daily wager workers who are working with dedication and have devoted prime time of their life to the respective departments as they are not entitled for pension benefits as per new Recruitment Policy. The Union also warns the State Government that if no appropriate steps are taken at an earliest the union shall be compelled to launch agitation and protests in support of the genuine demands of the poor workers.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
