Baramulla, Nov 26: In the ongoing 10th Prof. Yousuf Memorial Cricket Cup 2015 being played at Islamia College of Science and Commerce, Srinagar, Govt. Degree College Baramulla defeated Govt. Degree College Pattan by 01 Run. The toss was won by G D C Pattan and they elected to feild first, G D C Baramulla scored 123 Runs in allotted 20 Over with Liyaqat having contributed with 54 Runs in 46 deliveries and Umer Scored 26 in 21 deliveries. For Govt. Degree College Pattan, Shabir took 03 Wickets and Aamir 01 wicket.
Chasing a target of 124 Runs, Govt. Degree College Pattan could score 122 Runs in 19.5 overs . For them Muneer scored 42 Runs and Bilal scored 22, in 26 and 21 deliveries. For Govt. Degree College College Baramulla, Jehangir took 04 wickets and Umer 02 wicket. As such Govt. Degree College Baramulla won the match by 01 Run. Liyaqat of GDC Baramulla was adjudged the man of the match for his brilliant batting performance and Govt. Degree College Baramulla entered semi-finals of the tournament. |
