Deceased student's family protests against 'school authorities', ransacks school 11/26/2015 11:32:57 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 26: Following class X1 student committed suicide two days ago, agitated parents, family friends and locals today held a strong protest against the school administration. The protestors allegedly ransacked the Principal's office; however, police did not receive complaint from school administration in this connection till last report came in. Pertinently, one Aman Sharma, a class XI student of a private school in Shakti Nagar commiting suicide by hanging himself after he was reprimanded by the Principal of the school. The deceased allegedly took such the extreme step after the Principal of school asked him to bring his parents to school. After going home, finding no one at home, Aman locked himself in the storeroom and hanged himself from hook of a ceiling fan, the police reports said, adding, "when family members arrived back they found him hanging." "They informed the police accordingly the body was shifted to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu for legal formalities.
