Computerization, updation of record in Provident Fund Organisation reviewed | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 26: In view of making the organisation IT enabled and to initiate end to end process computerization, a meeting under the chairmanship of Ms. Vipra Bhal, Provident Fund Commissioner, J&K was held, here today. State Informatics Officer, NIC Abhay Kumar and other officers/officials of NIC and J&K Employees Provident Fund Organization were present on the occasion. The SIC has been informed for revamping of the website for the organization and its requirements for development of an online portal, issuance of Universal Account Numbers, maintenance of centralized data base on the pattern of Central Provident Fund Organization. It was decided in the meeting to hire an agency afresh through tendering to complete backlog of around 16 Lakh annual account statements of the organization. It was also agreed to impose penalty on outsourcing agency for any deviation from the target as fixed by competent authority in the contract. Further, it was also agreed to develop a system for providing easy online filling of returns by establishments, making accounts available online, real time updation of data base and all related services. Moreover, it was also decided in the meeting to setup a grievance voice mail recording system in the Divisional Offices of Jammu, Kashmir as well as in the Central Office. The organization would setup mobile data base for subscribers and employers, on the basis of which bulk SMS services would be activated for awareness among all stake holders. |
