As of now, no such input or sign of IS presence was seen across the International border but we are keeping watch on every situation developing across the globe, Sharma told reporters during the annual media conference here at Paloura headquarters. On Jamaat-ud-Dawa chief Hafiz Saeed links with Pakistani Army and the IS, the IG said, "Hafiz Saeed is delivering provocational speeches in terror camps across international border and Line of Control to wage war against India by launching attacks." Off or on, Hafiz Saeed is seen and heard across the border is Sialkot Sector and terrorists are being motivated, provocated by him to launch attacks on LoC, IB, he added. "Every time Pakistan provoked us but we effectively retaliated to the cross border firing," Sharma said and added that from mid 2014 till month of October this year, there was more than 100 percent ceasefire violations and around 45 infiltration attempts were made from across the border. On smart fencing, he said that test run is being tried but it is yet to be implemented on the ground. The IG however, on biggest challenge from Pakistan said, infiltration is the biggest challenge we are facing and it will not be tolerated. Snipping and targeting the civilian population, are the other aspects troubling us but we are replying hard to Pakistan on such occasions. Sharma also lauded the role of the BSF jawans in ensuring best performance of the Jammu frontier. He said our jawans deployed at the front deserved all the credit as they remained deployed at the frontier to check their entry inside the Indian territory. |
