Jammu, Dec 20 : Literary Organization Adbi Kunj and Rehbar-E- Jadid Memorial Trust Jain Bazar jointly organizes a literary meet at Rajpura to pay floral tributes to noted Urdu poet Late Jagdeepak Bahadur Suri ( Rehbar-E-Jadid ) on his 7th death anniversary. Noted poets , writers from different parts of the state took part in this literary meet. President of Adbi Kunj Sham Talib while expressing his views said that Jagdeepak Bahadur Suri ( Rehbar-E-Jadid) was the son of a cultured and scholarly Hindi writer and famous Advocate of J&K State, Late Shri. Bansi Lai Suri. He has published five volumes of the collection of his poems namely Khiyabhan , T alu-E-J aan , Hareem-E-Naaj , Andha Yug , G irdaab and Suraj-K a-Shehar. Talib said that after the publication of these books, Rehber-E- Jadid made a position among the modern and revolutionary writers and gained name and fame not only in our country but also in those countries where urdu is read and spoken'. His name also figures in who's-who . His influence on literature and even more on general public is inestimable. He has been bestowed many literary distinctions by J&K Cultural Academy and Adbi Kunj .He was honoured with the distinction' A poet for Excellent. He was the first person who brought to the notice of the holy cave of "Shiv Khori" and apprised the people ef this sacred pilgrimage. The other poets , writers who took part in this literary meet and read their papers were Aarish Om Dalmotra , P.L.Parihar , K.L. Deewana, Ghulam Mohd,B ishan Dass Khak , Bashir Charar, Advocate Shabbir Mirza, Raj Kamal , Fausia Mughal , Ved Uppal , Ashraf Shaida. |
