Keeping in view the normalizations of the things, the district administration or the police authorities removed the restrictions in Katra, sources added. Police sources said "The administration had imposed Section 144 of CrPC as preventive measure," adding that the scuffle between the police and Poniwalas-Pithus took place on 16th December night after the cops shifted five of them, observing fast unto death, to hospital as their health condition deteriorated. He added that in view of the normal situation, the Administration removed the restrictions at Katra. "Administration had imposed section 144 of CrPC in Katra town of Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir after the police allegedly resorted to lift the protesting labourers from the Dharna site on December 16 and 5 members of the Katra Sangharsh Samiti (KSS), who were sitting on fast unto death, were shifted to District Hospital Reasi in the mid-night therein causing a clash between Police and the protestors", said Mohd.
