JAMMU, Dec 20: Bethel Trust Football Club defeated Spring Dales Club 3-2 via tie-breaker to lift the title trophy of the 4th Christmas Soccer Championship, organised by Christian Sports Organization J&K in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Police Department at GGM Science College ground, here today. Sahil, Adonis and Danny successfully converted their penalties into goal while Ishan and Amit scored for Spring Dales Club. Adonis of Bethel Trust was declared as best player of the tournament. In the title clash, IGP Jammu, Danish Rana was chief guest while Fr. Kuriakose and Ranjeet Kalra were guests of honour. Hilal Rather, Palki Anand, Vikas Sharma were the special guests. The chief guest laid stress on more such sports events so as to provide the young men and women platform to excel.
Prominent among others present were Ramesh Chander, Inspector Ranjeet Singh, Gagan, Jacob Gill, Samuel Bhatti, Cornilius Gill, Daniel Sotra, Rajesh Gill, Victor Sotra, Asif Gill, David Mattoo, Rajesh Dhar, RP Singh, Ranjeet Singh, Gagan, Sunny Gill, Nitu Khokher, Naveen Mooman and Sandeep Manchanda.
