Daffodils Care Convent School celebrates 3rd Annual Day Zahoor Ragi 12/20/2015 11:16:52 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 20: Daffodils Care Convent school celebrated their 3rd Annual Day at Gurjar Charitable Trust , Channi Highway Road. The celebration was held with great exuberance and enthusiasm. The glistering ceremony commenced with the welcoming of the chief guest Rajesh Gupta , Member of Legislative Assembly Jammu East. The ceremonial lamp was lighted along the chanting of Gayatri Mantra by the Chief Guest, special invites and the parents. The function commenced with remembering Lord Ganesha by wonderful Ganesh Vandhna. The little ones showcased their beautiful performance to protect nature and keep its beauty. A poem recited by one of the girl brought tears into everybody's eyes through which she request all the fathers not to think of their daughter as a burden for them. The main attraction of the occasion were the folk dances of different state which high lightened the theme of the occasion " Indian Culture - A rich Legacy" & conveyed the message to be tied with our own roots & to be unite. The vibrant Bhangra and Gidda was the icing on the Cake. Everybody present their danced to the tunes and enjoyed. All the parents were spell bound to see their children performing so beautifully on the stage. The chief Guest Rajesh Gupta complimented the staff members and the students for putting such spectacular show. He also appreciated the efforts of the school in providing all round development.
