| Programme under Road Safety Week organized | | | Early Times Report
POONCH, Jan 24: ARTO Poonch organized a programme to mark road safety week at Government Degree college Poonch.
ADC Poonch Dr Basharat Inqalabi was the chief guest on the occasion while Principal Government Degree College Poonch Tajinder Singh presided over the function.
While speaking on the occasion ARTO Jahangir Khan stressed for following the traffic rules and norms in letter and spirits to all. He also highlighted several measures to be taken into consideration while playing vehicles and motorbike like wearing of helmets, seat belts, using indicators, avoidance of pressure horns and many other safety safeguards were discussed and elaborated in full length and breadth .He emphasized that life is a precious gift of God and one must use this precious gift in a judicious manners while driving on roads.
Students from various Govt/ private schools including Christ School Poonch, Zia Ul Uloom Poonch, Boys Higher Secondary School Poonch, Govt Degree College Poonch participated in the event with full zeal and zest and they pledge to promote and propagate this message of to the whole district voluntarily. |
