Defective building endangers students' lives in Poonch village 1/25/2016 12:21:04 AM Early Times Report Poonch, Jan 24: Education Department sanctioned a primary school in Fatehpur village of district Poonch in 2011. Its construction work was very slow due to lethargy of some employees of the department. A social worker of Poonch, Javid Iqbal Reshi took up the matter with the concerned authorities. The work started and the lanterns were laid though incompletely. The remaining work was taken up by another contractor but later it was found that proper material had not been used in the construction. Reshi took up the matter with the authorities and even showed the samples. However, to his utter surprise, the contractor received full payment.
