KPC rejects jobs under PM package for displaced KP youth | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 24: Appealing unemployed displaced Kashmir Pandit (KP) youths to think before opting or applying for the three thousand PM package posts in the valley, the Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) said that such a scheme was introduced to facilitate KP youths' return to valley. In a statement, the KPC chief Kundan Kashmiri rejected the rehabilitation schemes for displaced KP youths and termed it as a lollipop for luring them for their return to valley under the garb of three thousand employments in the valley under PM package. Repercussions of this 'lollipop scheme' are neither in the interest of the community nor to that particular displaced person or persons who would opt or apply for these posts in the Kashmiri valley. KPC suggested that displaced unemployed youths must think seriously before applying for these jobs in the valley while keeping in view the complete radicalization in the valley, hatred for India and Indians, infiltration of PaK and ISIS, terrorists, increase in home grown militants, negative mood and temper of common masses and administration and other grave problems faced by our KP male and female employees in the valley, Kundan Kashmiri demanded that these three thousand jobs are to be provided to Kashmiri Pandit youths in central departments and undertakings. The proposed flats to be constructed at Jammu and Delhi-NCR for temporary settlement of homeless displaced KPs till final settlement is made at the land of Kashyap Bhoomi in Kashmir valley, financial benefits of the package to be provided at present location, steps to be taken for abrogation of article 370 and one place settlement in Kashmir valley within the complete ambit of Indian constitution after due consultations of Community representatives. KPC Chief Kundan Kashmiri also vehemently condemned and criticized the centre government for preparing such ill- conceived and un-acceptable rehabilitation packages for displaced KP youths without consent and consultation of displaced Kashmiri Pandit community. |
