PVC stages protest over arbitrary reservation in Panchyats

Bani, Apr 5: Pahari Vikas Committee(PVC) today staged protest demonstration, raising objection over proposed reservation for Schedule caste, Schedule Tribes and women in Panchyats in Bani tehsil.
According to press release, the protestors have submitted a memorandum to BDO, SDM Bani in which they show resentment over imbalance and unjustified reservation for SC, ST and women and they alleged that it was totally violation of the Panchayat Raj Act 1989.
The protest staged under the leadership of Advocate, Rakesh Thakur the chief patron Pahari Vikas Committee, Vice chairman Des Raj, Amir Chand, Head master, Amar Singh, Chet Ram and others.
