One held with 40 pouches illicit liquor | | | Early Times Report UDHAMPUR, Apr 5: Police claimed to have arrested one bootlegger and recovered 40 pouches of illicit liquor during anaka checking ar Kambal Dangh, under the jurisdiction of Police Station Rehambal of Udhampur district. Police sources said that the accused has been identified as Ashish Bandral s/o Raj Singh of village Sandrani of Udhampur. According to police sources, a police party of Police Station Rehambal, laid a special naka at Kambal Dangh and apprehended one person Ashish Bandral of village Sandrani and during thorough search of his belonging police recovered J&K Excise Liquor 40 poly pouches (250 ml each) from his possession. Sources said that police party seized illicit liquor pouches and arrested the accused on the spot. Meanwhile a case u/s 48A Ex Act stands registered against the accused in Police Station Rehambal and further investigations are on. |
