Quiz competition organized 4/6/2016 12:34:30 AM Early Times Report RAMBAN, Apr 5 : Jammu and Kashmir Police under the Range Police Headquarter Batote organized a quiz competition under civic action programme at Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS), here today. The programme was organized under the guidance of DIG Kishtwar-Doda-Ramban Range Nissar Ahmed. Principal of host school, Parshotam Singh was the chief guest whereas Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Ramban, Mushtaq Choudhary was presided over the function. Government Girls High School Ramban secured the First position, while Bharatiya Vidya Mandir (BVM) High School Ramban and GHSS Ramban bagged 2nd and 3rd position respectively. In his address GHSS principal exhorted upon the students to participant in such kind of competitions for preparing their self to face different kind of forthcoming competitions in their carrier. He further appreciated the initiative taken by the Jammu and Kashmir Police for providing opportunities to the students of various institutions to display their talent in several fields. Speaking on the occasion ASP threw light on the concept and idea of Civic Action Programme and efforts of J&K Police to bridge the gap between Police & Public and providing the multiple avenues to the students for giving opportunities for competing at various levels.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
