Rs 74.93 crore spent under DAP | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Apr 24: An amount of Rs 74.93 crore was spent to develop various sectors under District Action Plan (DAP) in south Kashmir district of Kulgam for the year 2015-16, officials said here today. An official spokesperson here today said that Rs 126. 44 crore has been approved as the DAP for the year 2015-16 in Kulgam. He said Rs 74.93 crore has been utilized under various schemes to develop different sectors, against an available amount of Rs 76.26 crore. He said the Power Development Department (PDD) department is going to augment the main grid station Kulgam by 30MVA besides five new receiving stations including Kilam, Ramhama, Nagam, Chemgund and Manzgam will be augmented by the end of this year. Meanwhile, the District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kulgam stressed upon the engineers of different department to make coordinated efforts so that the decisions already taken regarding different projects will be implemented on ground at an earliest. The DDC directed the engineers PDD to come up with a detailed project report for buffer stocking of transformers in winter and up-gradation of existing workshop at district level. |
