Drug abuse awareness campaign organised | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 24 : Drug abuse awareness campaign was co-organised by NSG TRUST and ST. Peter's High School B.C. Road, Jammu held on 23rd April 2016 at School premises. Many of school students on took pledge to abstain from alcohol, tobacco and all types of drugs during a programme .The oath-taking programme against Drug Abuse Awareness was organised by National Social Group Trust. The power Point presentation shown to the student for awareness of drug Abuse. The Chairman of NSG trust Abhishek Padha told to the students about NSG Trust and how u can also keep away from drugs and dangers of drugs. Principal said, "It was a wonderful event. I have seen a lot of NSG Trust who have worked for the uplift of the society, children and women, is working to create an addiction-free nation." The poster making competition is held in the school and aims to promote an active drug-free lifestyle. More than 300 students participants from the schools. Participants had to incorporate the theme, "Life Does Not Rewind, Say No to Drugs", in their Painting scratch. To show their support for the Drug Abuse Awarenes to educate the students about the dangers of drugs was held concurrently with painting scratch. 9th & 10th class school students an opportunity to learn about digital media development, in particular game creation, based on an assigned anti drugs theme. With NSG anti-drug theme "Life Does Not Rewind. Say No to Drugs". |
