CAPD constitutes 3-member team to fix responsibility | Early Times Impact | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 28: Taking the cognizance of the news report published in the Early Times under the headline "CAPD ration diverted to M/S Kissan Flour Mill" CAPD department in order to fix the responsibility and to find out involvement of the officials, has constituted an inquiry team comprising Deputy Director (Supplies) as Chairman and Deputy Director (P&S) and Assistant Director (T&S). The inquiry team has been directed to furnish its report within two days pin pointing involvement of staff and millers. Pertinently, in its Wednesday's edition, ET had reported that Government ration worth lakhs, meant for the people was diverted to the Kissan Flour Mill and it was brought to fore after the police raided CAPD's Chatha based store. Both the wheat loaded trucks were sealed by the Channi Himmat police from Kissan Flour Mill at Deeli on Tuesdaynight. The raid was conducted, based on the information that the government ration was being diverted to the private flour mill with the active connivance of the CAPD officials.During the raid police seized two trucks bearing registration number JK02H/5349 and JK02G/4379 and accordingly registered a FIR 32/2016 at Channi Himmat police station in this connection. Meanwhile, police sources said that police have zeroed in on some CAPD officials and they are being questioned to unearth the entire scandal. |
