Early Times Report Kulgam, Apr 28: Information sought under Right to Information Act (RTI) has revealed that Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) Devsar in south Kashmir's Kulgam has fraudulently appointed a blue-eyed undeserving candidate as Anganwari worker. Documents reveal that Safeena Akther D/O Gh Ahmad Gani had secured 56.21 points and turned out to be most meritorious candidate, however surprisingly Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) Devsar who was member secretary of the three member committee appointed Fahmeeda Akther d/o Mohd Jamal Wani, who had secured just 48.77 points, as Aaganwari worker in Wahabbatpora Kelam village of Devsar assembly segment. Safeena- the deserving candidate knocked the door of senior officials, politicians but all went in vain as none among them responded to her pleas. However, now through Right to Information Act (RTI) she has managed to bring out the truth and has formally filed a written complaint at DC office Kulgam. Official sources said that Deputy Commissioner Kulgam has taken a strong note of her complaint and ordered an enquiry into it. They said that Additional Deputy Commissioner Kulagm, Mushtaq Ahmad Seminani is investigating the case. |
