| ZEO Vijaypur withholds salary of Two teachers | | | Vijaypur, May 14: Zonal Education Officer Anita Bhagat alongwith a team comprising of Rajiv Kumar DEO & Two Cluster Resource persons of clusters paid surprise visit to various schools of educational zone Vijaypur of district Samba and withheld salaries of two teachers for being absent from their duties in an unauthorized manner. During the inspection, the ZEO Vijaypur Anita Bhagat visited different schools under her jurisdiction which included PS Yogpur, PS Beri Bar , PS Dera Ganotra, GMS Patti, PS Cheer Khad, MS Bari Khad and MS Shah Da Talab. During inspection two teachers namely Shamshad and Rupa Rani of PS Beri Bar and PS Dera Gandotra respectively were found absent in unauthorized manner. Taking prompt action against absentees, the ZEO Vijaypur withheld the salary of both the teachers with immediate effect and sought the explanation from both the teachers in this regard.
Moreover Incharge of GMS Patti was instructed to direct one Loveleen Dogra Teacher of the school who is working in HS Patti to work in her own School i.e GMS Patti within two days failing which disciplinary action shall taken against her under civil service rules. During the inspection Smt Anita Bhagat ZEO besides checking the punctuality also inspected the quality and quantity of the Mid Day Meal (MDM) served in the school. |
