KPC urges to redressal long pending demands | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 14: KPC Chief Kundan Kashmiri demanded to State and centre Government that should be allotted accommodation and other facilities at par with camp dwellers or they should be immediately paid house rent and other expenses in cash, besides, a medical card to be issued for their free treatment, in particularly for fatal diseases. Addressing his party activistsm, Kundan Kashmiri stated that their life is totally miserable under present days huge price rise and has become very difficult for them and their family members to manage their day to day life. Most of the displaced Kashmiri Pandits who are either solely dependent on ration and relief or retired class three and four displaced employees or over--aged displaced youths, are residing in rented accommodations in Jammu, Delhi and other places and have only monthly relief or pension income of around rupees ten thousand or so, are worst victims of Govt. apathy. He also demanded compensation to the losses held in valley of displaced KPs orchards, trees, land and other properties to be paid at the earliest and also demanded blue print to be issued for return of KP,s to valley "On one Place Rehabilitation Plan" as well as information may be provided to the KP community and other nationalist people about the measures being taken for abrogation of Article 370. He warned the state and centre Govt. if action on these demands has not been taken within a month of time, all KPs together, in particular KPC activists and its supporters would launch an agitation and sit on dharna at janter Manter, New Delhi as well as at Jammu, till our demands are accepted by the Govt. |
