Authority fails to check working of Pvt schools: JKPSAJ | | | Reasi, May 22: J&K Private Schools Association Jammu alleged that illegal mushrooming growth of Private schools and no check by the authorities on the schools which are functioning without recognition/ permission or running illegal classes by clubbing the classes with other schools. A meeting was organized by members of Private Schools of district Reasi in the premises of Trikuta Shikesha Nikeetan High School Reasi. In the meeting a large number of stake holders as well as prominent Executive members of the central body also participated. While speaking the members briefed that students belonging to the Gujjar & Bakerwal community and residing in the Gujjar & Bakerwal hostel have asked by the authorities to vacate the hostel in lieu of the order issued by the government on 20/05/2016 in which all educational institutions are closed due to the intense heat waves throughout Jammu Division. Ajay Gupta General Secretary PSA J&K briefed the members about the initiative of the State Government for streamlining recognition process of Private schools and amendments in SRO 123 of 2010. He also hailed the decision of the government for closing the schools due to intense heat wave throughout Jammu Division. He appealed that government should declare the summer vacations in continuation to the breaks declared on 20/05/2016 vide Govt. order number 177-Edu of 2016 for a stipulated period so that the loss of the working days can be compensated in all respect. |
