Jammu, May 25: Regional Joint Director General of Foreign Trade, Jammu organized a seminar under Niryat Bandhu Scheme to generate Export awareness on in collaboration with Birpur Industrial Association. M.K. Nikhare, ITS, Dy.DGFT, Ramesh Kumar Verma, ITS, ADGFT, Romesh Badial, President, BIA, Gagan Jain, Secy. General BIA, & Sachin Mahajan, Sr. Manager, HDFC Bank shared the dais.
The programme began with inaugural address by Nikhare, explaining the role of DGFT in International Trade. He appealed the industrialists to obtain Importer Exporter Code Number, the basic requirement for entering into International Trade which was being processed online these days on submission of just two documents i.e. PAN & a Bank Certificate . He advised the industrialists in Jammu to come forward for exports & avail the export incentive schemes under the Foreign Trade Policy. |
