GBSWA thanks CAPD minister | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 29: Gujjar Bakerwal Students Welfare Association (GBSWA) has expressed gratitude to Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution (CAPD) minister Zulfikar Choudhary for enhancing the stipend for hostel inmates. According to press release, a function was organized in GBPG hostels Kunjwani under the patronage of in-charge Warden Choudhary Aslam. Speaking on the occasion, GBSWA president Zulfqar Kasana said that on 29th December 2015, GB PG Boys hostel inmates had launched a hunger strike for increasing food stipend from Rs.50-100 per head. At the time CAPD minister Zulfqar Choudhary had verbally directed for increase and now a written order has also been issued for enhancing the stipend. They thanked Chief Minister, CAPD minister and VC Gujjar Bakarwal Advisory Board and Secretary Mukhtar Choudhary for this kind act. |
