Rajouri, May 31: After she fell prey to the electricity burns while playing at Office of Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Rajouri when she accidently came into contact with high tension wire, the little girl who is struggling for survival is yet to get any compensation from the Power Development Department or any government agency.
Local reports said that an unfortunate poor girl hailing from BPL family received electric shock burns while playing at a ground at Office of CMO Rajouri some about two months back is still waiting for any financial help from power department.
"Tammana Kouser d/o Gulam Nabi received severe burns while playing in ground on this March 29 when she suddenly came in contact with high tension cable which was looming very low due to alleged negligence of PDD," reports said.
"The victim suffered burns at her face and other part of body including feet, reports said, adding, "though the PDD official had assured victim's father who also is a handicapped for providing all kind of financial help for her treatment but after the passage of about two months the family is still waiting for any kind of financial assistance.
Today when aggrieved family went to XEn PDD's office they were disappointed over the cold response from the concerned officials. While talking to media persons, the father of victim warned if PDD fails to provide him financial help, he will be forced to self immolate in front of PDD office..
XEn PDD Umesh Parihar briefly told that they are going to help the victim financially and has communicated higher authorities in this regard. |
