Revenue minister assures probe into encroachment of District Hospital, Sports Stadium Doda 6/1/2016 12:10:19 AM Asif Iqbal Naik Early Times Report Srinagar, May 31: The Minister of Revenue Basharat Ahmed Bukhari today assured MLA Doda Shakti Parihar of initiating probe into the allegations of encroachment of District Hospital Land as well as on Sports Stadium Doda land beside also assured action against officials who will be found guilty of providing any wrong and misleading information to the Legislative Assembly. In response to A.Q No. 410 of MLA Doda Shakti Parihar, Deputy Secretary to Government Revenue Department stated that 44 Kanal and 02 Marla Land has been acquired for Sports Stadium Doda while 54 Kanal 9 ½ Kanal land has been acquired for the District Hospital Doda added that the land is presently being used by the concern authorities and rule out any encroachment of the said land. Not satisfied with the government reply, the MLA informed the revenue Minister that the land has been encroached by the encroachers at both places and termed the government reply as not satisfactory demanded verification of his allegations on ground by making the measurement of the both lands. Agreed to the concern showed by the MLA Doda, minister ordered probe and assured him that the matter will be looked into so that things could be cleared with regard to allegations o encroachment of District Hospital Doda and Sports Stadium land. He also raise the issue of delay in implementation of Rehabilitation Plans for Displaced families of Pul Doda whose land and house comes into the ambit of Dam of 450 MW Baghliar Power Project. The Minister informed the MLA Doda that due to some court cases, the full implementation of RR Plan has been delayed added that majority of the decision with regard to the RR plan has been implemented on ground.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
