Entrepreneurship development workshop concludes 6/30/2016 10:30:25 PM Early Times Report Jammu, June 30: A 10-day entrepreneurship development workshop concluded at Government Polytechnic Bikram Chowk Jammu. The programme has been organized by Government Polytechnic Entrepreneurship Development Cell in collaboration with the Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME-DI) which intends to identify budding entrepreneurs and develop their skill and competencies. The programme aimed to provide complete information on government's initiatives on promotion of entrepreneurship in the state. Er. Ritu Jamwal, Principal of the institute presided over the inaugural session which was also graced by Saheel Yaqoob Allaqband Assistant Director, MSME-DI Jammu. In her presidential address, Er Ritu Jamwal highlighted the importance of collaborations in making higher education more effective and result-oriented. The institute always encourages collaborations and partnerships that help the students in enhancing their skills and make them employable. Saheel Yaqoob Allaqband said that the Centre is working tirelessly to provide employment opportunities to the youth of J&K and also take initiatives to groom budding entrepreneurs so that they could start their own enterprises.
