BJP MLAs complain against ill-informed party ministers | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 30: There is strong anger among MLAs of the BJP against failure of the BJP ministers to take stand during cabinet meetings on crucial issues. Instead of presenting united face during cabinet meetings, BJP ministers are more concerned about undermine each other credibility thus providing opportunity to the coalition partner to take final decisions on crucial bills. Credible sources in the BJP said that recently many controversial bills were cleared by the State Cabinet in the presence of BJP ministers, who failed to react effectively. These bills were cleared for introduction in the Assembly and the BJP ministers were not aware of the consequences of these Bills. The party MLAs have sabotaged passing of these controversial bills in the House but they registered their protests before the leadership against failure of the party ministers in the Cabinet. Credible sources said that some MLAs have told party leadership that their representatives in the government are either ill-informed or they deliberately clearing controversial bills, which are against the core of party's ideology. Party MLAs have, sources said, asked party leadership to provide tuition to BJP ministers because most of the them appears to the working like rubber stamps without realizing consequences of some controversial bills. Credible sources further said that party MLAs have told the leadership that they are facing criticism from the common masses over some controversial bills passed by the Cabinet. |
