3 killed, 5 hurt in tipper mishap | | | Early Times Report Jammu, June 30: A tipper this afternoon met with an accident at Mohra Dhulu Budhan in Reasi, resulting in the death of three persons and injuries to five others. The ill-fated tipper (JKO2W/2414), which was on its way to from Gool to Dharmari, met with an accident when it reached near Mohra Dhulu Budhan link road as a result of which three persons lost their lives on the spot while five others survived with critical injuries. Police identified the dead as Mushtaq Ahmad, son of Ghulam Rasool Shan, Raiz Ahmad, son of Mohammad Hussain and Mohammad Shafi, all residents of Gool. The injured were identified as as Mohammad Hussain, Shabir Ahmad, Mohammad Shafi, Raqeeb and Mohammad Muzamil. All of them were admitted to local hospital. Meanwhile, two persons were wounded in a Maruti car accident at Dhalwas in Ramban district. The incident occurred while the car (JK02L/3704) was on its way to from Batote to Ramban. After skidding off the road, the car fell into a 500 ft deep gorge, police said. The injured were identified as car driver Pardeep Singh, son of Mohan Singh of Badthal, Batote, and Deepak Sharma, son of Kali Dass of Champa, Batote. They were admitted to the district hospital, Ramban. A case in this connection was registered at the concerned police station under sections 279 and 337 of RPC. |
