Jammu, June 30: Taking a dig upon BJP for failing to raise the issue of the backwards classes at floor of of the assembly during current session, the All India Backward Classes Union, stated that BJP got full support from the State OBCs both in parliament as well as in the Assembly elections yet it has failed to raise the problems of backward classes in state
Prof. Kali Dass Gen. Secretary AIBCU in a press statement reminded that Prime Minister Narinder Modi raised the issue of the Non-implementation of Mandal report in the State not once but for many a times in different Public Rallies in Jammu."
He said the AIBCU, has appealed the State BJP leaders which include the former State President and M.P of Jammu-Poonch Parliament Constituency Jugal Sharma, its new president Sat Pal Sharma (CA) and Gen Secy (Pol org) Ashok Koul but all in vain. "AIBCU also has apprised the Dy CM Dr Nirmal Singh in a rally organised at Vijaypur 24/02/2016 and Dr Jatinder Singh MOS of PMO office but this too went in vain, he added.
Mr Dass furher stated ironically the BJP members have failed to come to the expectations of down trodden people as it has failed to raise the issue of OBCs in J&K during the 3rd Assembly session which concluded on June 30. "BJP has to show a remarkable difference of its policy distant way from that of NC & Congress in respect of the State OBCs who have exploited by NC-Congress since 1992 after Apex Court's Judgment on Mandal Report," he added.
"BJP still has an opportunity to show its commitment over its made promises in the Parliament / Assembly elections, he added.
