2 chemist shops closed for non adherence to show cause notice | | | Early Times Report
rajouri, July 23: Assistant Drug Controller, Rajouri today ordered for the closure of two Medical shops for two days for not responding to the show cause notices issued against the owners of these Medical Shops few days ago. According to official, the KGN Medicos and Seven Sky were asked to close down till further orders. During routine checking's of medical shops recently the drug inspector didn't find the license holders present in these shops and the employee reportedly not qualified in this field were selling the drugs. Taking cognizance, Drug Inspector issued show cause notices to the license holders on spot to clear their positions but they didn't respond to the show cause notice till today. "During routine checking today drug inspector Vipin Kachru again found Tahir Ahmed & Abdul Qayoom both license holders absent from their medical shops namely KGN Medicos and Seven Sky respectively" said Rajesh Angurana, Assistant Drug Controller. He added on the recommendations of Drug Inspector, both the medical shops were closed for two days as an exemplary punishment and if they failed to respond to the show cause notice or found violating the rules / regulations , the department will not hesitate to cancel their licenses. Pertinent to mention that after several complaints from people that several medical shops are run in unauthorized manner, Additional Deputy Commissioner Mohd Mumtaz Ali has instructed the Assistant Drug Controller to keep routine check on the Medical Shops especially situated in the vicinity of District Hospital.
