| SOS HGS organizes investiture ceremony | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 23: Investiture ceremony was held in SOS Hermann Gmeiner School with fervour and zeal. Jaggir Das Director SOS Children's Villages of India was the Chief Guest on the occasion. He was welcomed by Principal RK Dhar. The programme began with the lightning of traditional lamp followed by cultural items like group songs and solo songs that memorized the audience. After administering the oath to all the Group Captains Vice captains and House Prefects of all the four Houses namely Chenab House, Jhelum House, Ravi House and Tawi House the Badge ceremony was held. The students were presented badges by chief Guest, Principal and Activity In-charge Reeta Koul. Two Students were presented badges for being morning assembly coordinators. Speaking on the occasion the chief guest urged the students to utilize this opportunity in developing leadership qualities. |
