Govt failed to handle Kashmir situation: Cong | | | Early Times Report
Ramban, Aug 9: District Congress Committee Ramban has alleged that the present central and state govt has failed to handle the situation which is going on in Kashmir for the last past one month and also failed to run the govt in accordance with the constitution of J&K state. It is well known to the people that govt has also failed for the smooth conduct of Amarnath yatra. This was stated in a press conference presided by Arun Singh Raju (ADV.) DCC president Ramban along with Ashok Kumar Dogra (Ex. MLA & PCC Secretary) and Farooq Katoch DCC working president, Narainder Kour (Mahila President). He also alleged that the problem which had been erupted in the Kashmir valley has made deep roots in the Jammu province also which is a matter of serious concern .The govt. and administration as well has failed to understand the roots of the situation which now effecting Jammu province also, had the govt. and administration been taken appropriate steps the prevailing situation would have not have arisen in Jammu province. That due to the careless and apathetic approach of the govt. and administration the people has lost their confidence and the faith. That the Ramban Distt. Is the example of peace and secularism in the state and we will follow the same in future for the unity and peace of the people. Keeping in view the circumstances and prevalent situation the District Congress Committee Ramban appeal to the public of the state in general and Ramban in particular to maintain the peace brotherhood and harmony, which is very important for the progress and betterment of the society. The various leaders of congress were present in the meeting included Isaq Khandey, Ajmer Singh, Mustaq Katoch, Choudary Yakoob. |
