Police officer turns money lender Gives loan against land only 8/9/2016 11:33:37 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 9: Khaki and money lending business have made a good combination here and the cocktail has helped a police officer earn crores. "The police officer gives loan against land only. He has so far given crores of rupees as loan to the people," police sources alleged. His close relatives and a retired police officer were also alleged to be his partners in the money lending business. "Customers are brought to him by his relatives," sources said. Sources said the pieces of land, against which the loan amount had been given to the people, were situated in the heart of the city and city's peripheral areas. "Those, who fail to repay the loan amount on time, their land is sold out by the police officer," sources alleged. The officer was said to be earning a huge amount of money per month as interest. He was the blue-eyed boy of not only his seniors, but also of senior officers of other departments.
