Cricket tournament organized 8/21/2016 10:56:33 PM Early Times Reporter Jammu, Aug 21: Army organised cricket tournament at village Agsi, tehsil Mahore, in close coordination with the local village sports body and the Agsi Youth Association with an aim to promote sports amongst the youth of the remote areas. The week long tournament culminated and featured 16 teams from the remote villages of Mahore tehsil as well as villages along the higher reaches of Pir Panjal ranges. The tournament was conducted on the occasion of the 70th Independence Day Celebrations and attracted large number of youth towards the spirit of game. The friendly atmosphere during the tournament reflected the bonhomie and cultural integrity of the region. The team from Village Khour lifted the Winner's trophy defeating team of Gulabgarh.
