Over 50 Kanal Forest land retrieved 8/21/2016 11:06:14 PM MS Nazki Early Times Report Mendhar, Aug 21: Forest Officials along with their team dismantled structures in comportment No 116 in Ari Village of Mendhar Tehsil which were raised by some locals in order to encroach the forest land measuring over 50 Kanals sources said here today. Sources said on a tip off Forest Range Officer MB Malik passed directions to incharge forest beat Ari who constituted a team and reached the spot and removed the temporary structures which were raised on the forest land by some local villagers in compartment No 116 of Ari village in order to grab the state land measuring over 50 Kanals. District Forest Officer Poonch Dr Syed Nadeem Hussain Shah had inputs earlier, about the encroaching the forest land in compartment No 116 in Ari Village of Mendhar tehsil and he accordingly directed the Range Officer to take the cognizance of the matter. When contacted Forest Range Officer MB Malik told Early Times that a quick action was initiated by the Forest officials who reached on spot and retrieved over 50 Kanals of forest land from the encroachers and removed all illegal structures raised by them on it he said, adding that the encroachers have been identified and they will be booked under relevant laws soon, he added.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
