AMCCC submits charter of demands for redressal of problems | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 21: All Migrant Camps Coordination Committee delegation while putting the charter of demands before the official concerned (special secretary) have demanded release of cash payment of balance ration (Previous 3 months) which was discussed and the Secretary on spot announced that within 3-4 days the, relief holders can get payment in their Accounts as Govt. has sent the Payment to the Treasuries. The organization that held its meeting at Jagti demanded that the balance exgratia of the damaged houses & other structures which is pending since 1990 be given. "We demand that there should be easy process for the bifurcation, inclusion and releasing of ration cards which have been either torn out and there should be soft policies from Govt. side for the Kashmiri migrants so that people could not suffer in coming days," said Desh Rattan Pandita, president AMCCC. All those candidates who have qualified their entrance/interviews needed to be released at earliest so that they can come under PM package, it said, adding that proper water supply scheme in Jagti needs to be set up with a Water Plant by engaging Underground Water Department in this work so that people can get proper and clean water supply to whole of the Jagti Camp. It further said that from Jan 2016 to August 2016 the Relief organization has not advertised a single work for the welfare of the Kashmiri migrants in camps or non camps. The funds lapsed but were not used for the development of the migrants. It is unfortunate for our community as the PM of our Country is forcing that development works may not be stopped and all those In charge officials who are working in different fields should work for the public but instead of it our Relief organization is not working for the welfare of the Migrants. |
