GAD updates new posting places of Govt officers 8/29/2016 11:58:02 PM ET Impact Ishtiyaq Ahmad Early Times Report Srinagar, Aug 29: Taking cognizance of Early Times report that the official website of the General Administration Department (GAD), was catering outdated information, the GAD has now updated the present posting of senior government officers. The "telephone directory" section of the General Administration Department was showing Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Baseer Ahmad Khan as Secretary Cooperative Department. However, his name has been deleted from the administrative secretaries list now. Vinod Koul, chairman, J&K Special Tribunal was also shown as Commissioner Secretary Science Technology Department, however now the GAD has shown Sarita Chauhan as Secretary Science and Technology. Mohmmad Afzal Bhat was also shown as Commissioner Secretary Floriculture Department; however, now he is shown at his present posting of Commissioner Secretary Forest Department. R. K Bhagat was listed as the Secretary Transport and Hemant as the Secretary Higher Education Department. But now R. K Bhagat is shown as Secretary Animal and Sheep Department while Hemant Kumar as Secretary Cooperatives Department. Meanwhile sources said that the official websites of districts are continuously carrying outdated information and are not being regularly updated. The official website of the Directorate of School Education Kashmir dsek.nic.in- is carrying notifications of 08. 07. 2016 regarding the posting of I/C head masters while rest of the data hasn't been updated since then. People is complaining that from last two months, the situation is same with almost all other websites-Health, Higher Education, Forests, Finance and others.
