Pak, its agencies have sabotaged separatists-All Party delegation talks
9/7/2016 10:48:43 PM

It is now confirmed that on sugges
tions from Pakistan, Kashmiri separat
ists did not reopen their doors for dialogue with members of All Party delegation who spent two days in Srinagar.Though leader of the delegation Union Home Minister,Rajnath Singh, was opposed still he tolerated some of the delegation members driving to the residence of some separatists and their response was on the same pattern. They did not want to talk on the Kashmir issue with the members of the All Party delegation because Pakistan, its Army and some unofficial actors like Hafiz Saeed and Syed Salahuddin had assured people in Kashmir that protesters have to face bullets for some time more because Azadi was round the corner. And promise of diplomatic, material and moral support from Pakistan to the people became evident when Pakistan Army personnel violated ceasefire agreement in Poonch sector the other other.Their purpose was to push some groups of militants so that the ongoing level of violence in Kashmir could escalate.
Though Prime Minister Narendra Modi had indirectly accused Pakistan of sponsoring terrorism, the Pakistan Army again violated the ceasefire agreement along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch sector on the other day. The intermittent firing that started at midnight when the Pakistan Army resorted to firing with small arms was on Pakistani soldiers initiated unprovoked and indiscriminate firing at midnight on Indian Army posts along the LoC. The Indian Army retaliated appropriately and the intermittent firing continued for some hours. Pakistani Army resorted to firing with small arms and later used 120 mm mortar shells. "Our soldiers also responded with similar arms On September 2, the Pakistan Army had violated the ceasefire agreement along the LoC in Akhnoor sector and for the second time in three days, they again resorted to unprovoked firing. On August 14, the Pakistan Army had violated the truce agreement in Poonch sector.
On September 21 last year, a brigade commander-level meeting was held between the Indian and Pakistani Army where it was decided to respect the ceasefire agreement. The meeting was held after the prevailing tension between the two armies as firing and shelling from both sides had led to civilian deaths and loss to property.Almost a year after the meeting, tension is again escalating on the LoC and has mounted soon after the members of the All Party delegation left Jammu and Kashmir and reached New Delhi. The ceasefire violation in Poonch has a message for people in Jammu and Kashmir. The message is they should not hold talks with New Delhi and for the settlement of the Kashmir issue, New Delhi has to talk to Islamabad. It is in this connection that senior separatist leader,Prof. Abdul Gani Bhat has said that the issue can be resolve through bilateral talks between India and Pakistan. To a question he seems to have altered his old statement that the issue was a triangular problem and needed to be resolved through talks between India, Pakistan and genuine representatives of people of Jammu and Kashmir.
