Poonch, Sept 7: Traders of Poonch held a meeting at Dak-Banlow Poonch under the chairmanship of Shahzad Ahmed Khan and discussed issues of traders and also constituted a traders' body in the name and style of Poonch-Rawalakote Traders Union Chakan Da-Bagh Poonch.
According to a press statement, the said traders' body will be headed by its Chairman Shazad Khan while other members elected to the body were Sehdev Singh Chib as Vice Chariman, S Hardev Singh as Chief Patron, Abdul Razak Khaki as President and Abdul Ahad as General Secretary .
Among others elected to the body included S Krishan Singh Vice President, Mohd Amin Magray as Secretary , Shahzad Shabnam as Chief organizer, Abdul Aziz Khari as Organizer, Anil Phool as legal Advisor, Ghulam Mohd Azad as Joint Secretary , Iftikhar Ahmed as , Office secretary, Imtiaz Salaria as Cashier , Mohd Shabir Tantray as Manager , Mushtaq Hamed Khari as Dy Manager, Nishu Gupta as Joint Cashier, Joginder Pal Singh as Advisor, Parvez Akhter as Dy Secretary , Mohd Rafiq as Information Secretary.
Chairman Shazad Khan, thanked all the members for their kind support and assured all the members that this union will give full support to all the registered 303-Traders. The newly elected members met the District Development Commissioner (DDC) Poonch Mohd Haroon Malik and urged him to arrange a joint meeting of Traders of Indo Pak at Zero Point Chakan- Da- Bagh. |
