Spiritual sermons delivered | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 18: Madhu Param Hans ji Maharaj, the spiritual head of Sahib Bandgi panth, during his course of sermons at Satwari Chowk, said that the soul can attain true pleasures only after reaching Amarlok. Some enjoy the outward pleasures while others enjoy the inner ones. But the real spiritual pleasures are to be found beyond these two. Man enjoys the outward pleasures through his Indriyas. All these pleasures are sure to lead him to hell. The yogis enjoy many pleasures through different Mudras. Some see the light within while others experience the upward movement of Surti. But both of these are nothing but the play of Maya. In fact, the pleasures derived by a yogi are the pleasures enjoyed by the subtle Indriyas. Listening to the hateful words creates the same feeling in us whereas listening to the lustful words also fills our mind with similar feelings. The pleasures enjoyed by a yogi are similar to these feelings. Some yogis derive pleasures from the nectar like thing they taste. No doubt, it happens so. But all this is nothing but a play of Maya. Sahib Kabir has described the musical notes as a net of Kaal. The truth is far beyond this. Only a satguru has the power to take his disciple to this state of truth. The real pleasure is that which is not followed by any sorrow or suffering. There is no downfall after attaining such pleasures. These pleasures are eternal & can be called as the spiritual ones. God resides in our soul. When the soul recognises its own identity, it reaches an indescribable blissful state. This is what is called as the experience of real & eternal pleasures. |
