Two inter district narco- peddlers held with 05 gms of Heroin 9/19/2016 11:03:55 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Sep 19: in continuation of operation "Sanjeevani", the drive by SSP Jammu, Sunil Gupta IPS, Jammu police claimed to have arrested two inter district narcotics peddlers alongwith 05 gms of Heroin during a naka at Digiana at Shamshan Ghat Pulli under jurisdiction of Police Station Gandhinagar. Police spokesperson said, "The accused have been identified as Jaipreet Singh @ Honey S/o Joginder Singh R/o Preet Nagar, Digiana Jammu and Manjot Singh S/o Manjeet Singh R/o Preet Nagar, Digiana Jammu " According to police the naka was laid by HC Rattan Kumar along with nafri of PP Digiana at Shamshan Ghat Pulli and during naka checking two pedestrian coming towards naka on seeing police tried to escape from the spot but police team gave hot chase to them and apprehended after some distance. "The duo during questioning disclosed their name as Jaipreet Singh @ Honey and Manjot Singh and during their frisking police team recovered 05 gms of Heroin from their possession." "In this regard, a case FIR No. 224/2016 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act registered at P/S Gandhi Nagar, Jammu and investigation has been entrusted to SI Pawan Dogra I/C PP Digiana, police said.
